A movie lover is urging Netflix subscribers to watch the ‘biggest hidden gem’ on its streaming service – as he shares his surprise about it going under the radar for so long
Netflix subscribers have been told to check out the “biggest hidden gem” on the streaming service before it’s taken off the platform. Film fan Eccy Reviews, who shares the latest TV and movie news on his social media channels, is urging people to watch Mirage.
He said: “So if you’re looking for something to watch and you’re sick of endlessly scrolling through Netflix, I have found one of the biggest hidden gems that hardly anyone has heard of – and it’s literally been sat there for years. I’m talking about is called Mirage.
“Like I said, I’d be surprised if you’ve heard of it – and even more surprised if you’ve actually seen it. It’s a psychological thriller that everyone needs to check out.”
The 2018 movie follows Vera, a mum-of-one, as she interacts with the ghost of a child and saves his life. However, her actions cause a space-time continuum glitch, altering reality.
Eccy added: “It’s honestly one of the most shocking psychological thrillers I’ve come across on Netflix, and if you haven’t seen it yet, you’re seriously missing out.
“So make sure to add Mirage to your watchlist and give it a go.”
Starring Adriana Ugarte, Chino DarÃn, and Javier Gutiérrez, the movie was nominated for two Gaudà Awards awards in 2019.
