This is to inform all Filipino students interested in furthering their careers in science and technology through Dost scholarship that the 2024 application form is out. The DOST Scholarship application form 2024 is now open to apply, information on the requirements, eligibility and deadline is available below.
About Dost Scholarships
The Dost Scholarship recognizes, encourages and awards talented Filipino students to further their undergraduate or professional programs of study by pursuing lifetime careers in Science and Technology, while ensuring a stable, sufficient supply of skilled S&T human resources that can drive the country towards national progress.
NB: Applicants may obtain this Scholarship once per academic year.
Benefits of DOST-SEI Scholarship
Following is the list of benefits, which a DOST scholar will receive:
A. Regular Academic Year

- Tuition and other school fees (for scholars enrolled in private HEIs) – Actual fees up to ₱40,000.00 / year
- Learning Materials and/or Connectivity Allowance – ₱10,000.00 / year

- Monthly Living Allowance – ₱7,000.00 / month
- Clothing Allowance – ₱1,000.00 (1st Sem of 1st Year Only)
- Transportation Allowance (for those studying outside of home province) – 1 economy-class roundtrip fare

- Group Health and Accident Insurance – Premium
- Thesis Allowance – ₱10,000.00
- Graduation Allowance – ₱1,000.00
B. Mid-Year Term1 Allowance (if required in the curriculum)

- Learning Materials and/or Connectivity Allowance – ₱2,000.00
- Monthly Living Allowance – ₱7,000.00 / month for two months

Eligibility and Requirements
- Graduating Grade 12 male and female students in SY 2023-2024:
- STEM STRAND: All students belonging to the STEM class
- NON-STEM STRAND: Must be in the top 5% of the graduating class
- Graduate of Grade 12 before SY 2023-2024 and did not enroll in college yet:
- STEM STRAND: All students belonging to the STEM class
- NON-STEM STRAND: Must be in the top 5% of the graduating class
- Graduate of high school before the K-12 Program. Must belong to the top 5% of the graduating class.
- Must be natural-born Filipino citizen.
- Must be of good moral character and in good health.
- May have applied to the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship but did not qualify; OR may have qualified for the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship but did not avail of the award; OR have not applied to any DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship Program.
- Must NOT have earned any post-secondary (college or vocational) units.
How to apply for DOST Scholarship 2024
All interested and eligible applicants can apply for the 2024 DOST Scholarship via Online Application system by visiting E-Scholarship Application System.

Dost Scholarship 2024 Application Deadline
- Start of Online Application Period: 17 October 2023
- Last Day of Request for School Inclusion in the E-Application System: 15 December 2023
- Deadline of Online Application & uploading of requirements: 31 December 2023
- Schedule of Qualifying Examination: 6-7 April 2024.

1 | Certificate of Good Moral Character | C | 1. Print each form in a size A4 bond paper. 2. Have these forms accomplished by the proper authorities/ officials/ persons as indicated in each form. 3. Make sure that each form is signed. 4. Scan or take picture of each accomplished form and save file. 5. Name each file: (Surname-Form __) when saving it. 6.
