About Elimu scholarships
Elimu scholarship is a charitable organization that seeks contributions from individuals, groups, corporations, and foundations with the goal of providing hope, opportunity, and access to education through scholarships to Kenyan students.
The Elimu Fund was officially launched on July 23, 2005 with a mission to help intelligent Kenyans students with limited financial resources pursue and successfully complete secondary education.

The 2024 to 2025 Application form is out and it’s only applicable to candidates who meet the application requirements specified in this post; Continue reading to know if you’re eligible.
The scholarship caters to School fees, transport to and from school, learning materials, and a School kit for the beneficiaries for the four-year education period.
Please note that ONLY the candidates who meet the requirements will be considered for the scholarships. Members of the public are urged to share this information widely.
Elimu Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Requirements
Below are the Requirement for applying for Elimu Scholarship 2024 application form:
- Applicant must have completed the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) in the preceding year with a minimum grade of “B”
- The recipient must have received admission to a public or private secondary school that is recognized as such by the Ministry of Education in Kenya
- Those with special needs and disabilities
- Orphans and Vulnerable children etc..

The deadline for the 2024 Elimu Scholarship form is yet to be announced. The deadline for 2024 application is fast approaching since the applications should be processed before candidates report to their respective schools for form one admission this year.

Elimu Scholarships for Secondary Schools in Kenya – Eligibility Requirements
Each applicant must submit the following materials:
- A completed application form,
- A copy of his or her examination results, and
- Three letters of recommendation from the school principal, the area chief, and/or other community members in responsible positions (e.g., religious leaders, NGO members, etc., but not relatives) who are able to judge the applicant’s character and community orientation and who can certify or comment on the economic status of the applicant, and
- An essay explaining how the Elimu Fund will be useful to the student, and describing his or her potential contribution to society.

I applied for the Elimu Scholarship and I so the forms showing the year 2022 and my son attained 300 above, even already I have filled the application forms and I took it to the bank but they refused, and I was told its not been announced or placed online and I am also nerdy person
