“Alaskan Bush People” alum Matt Brown’s brother Gabe was seen talking to police on Thursday as the search for the reality TV star continues.

Sources said Gabe — who is one of the few family members not estranged from Matt — was speaking with authorities at the Washington river location where an unidentified man is said to have gone missing, reports TMZ.

The insiders told the outlet that Gabe chatted with officers as part of their ongoing search.

Bear informed his followers on Thursday that he had been told his eldest brother, Matt, “took his own life.”

While the 38-year-old reality star couldn’t “confirm that that’s true,” he said Matt, 43, “was seen in a river, at a river or close to a river” and later “floating down the river.”

A report was then called in to the OCSO in Washington — where Matt lives — and a search was started to locate the body.

“All the witnesses are saying that it was Matt,” Bear continued. “Someone definitely did, and a lot of people are thinking that it’s him. … It looks like it is. … It’s looking very likely that it is the case.”

In the OCSO’s press release, the authorities shared that someone called 911 on Wednesday to say they had just spoken to a man sitting in the shallow water of the Okanogan River, which is south of Oroville.

“The caller turned away from the man sitting in the river, heard a sound, turned back toward the man in the water and saw the man was facedown in the water drifting away in the current,” the press release read, noting that a gun was later recovered from the area.

Matt was last seen a week ago, giving an alarming nude livestream on YouTube, where he rambled while seemingly drunk and/or high and carried what appeared to be a gun.

In his most recent update, Bear shared via TikTok on Thursday that a body has not yet been located.

While posts have been made with Matt’s image and shared to a Facebook page with his name, Bear claims the posts are fake.

“Matt only has a YouTube channel. He’s not on Facebook. He’s not on TikTok. He’s not on any of those. Those are scammers that are posing as him for y’all guys to send him money,” he said.
