Malin Akerman loves her “The Hunting Wives” character, Margo Banks.
Akerman, 48, added that she’s “living vicariously” through Banks and “enjoying every single moment to yield that power,” but noted that “she’s not a great role model!”
The hit Netflix series debuted in 2025 and follows the story of Banks (Akerman), a sexy housewife and the queen bee of an elite and affluent socialite group of wives. She ends up taking a romantic interest in the newcomer of the group, Sophie O’Neil, played by Brittany Snow.

“It’s brought so much joy to people already,” he gushed. “So fun to be a part of.”
“I think maybe we haven’t had, like, campy sizzle for a little while,” he noted. “The show just really caught people right in the funny bone, and you know, whatever other bones you want to mention.”
“Sweden often gets mistaken for Switzerland,” she explained, adding that when she arrived stateside, people often asked her about the fictitious Swedish Bikini Team, a group of models who appeared in an advertising campaign for Old Milwaukee beer.

“I was like, ‘Swedish Bikini Team? There is no Swedish Bikini Team!” she exclaimed.
However, the “Billions” alum said she does enjoy one American take on a famous recipe from her country: IKEA’s Swedish meatballs.
“My son is obsessed with IKEA meatballs. We get them every time we go to IKEA,” she said. “[But] I prefer my homemade ones.”
