A man from Leeds has been jailed for encouraging a “vulnerable” 21-year-old man in America to take his own life.

Dylan Phelan, 21, from the Churwell area of Morley, was sentenced today to six years and four months after previously pleading guilty to intentionally doing an act which was capable of encouraging the suicide of another person, three counts of possession of an extreme pornographic image and one count of making an indecent image of a child.

He was also made the subject of a 10 year Sexual Harm Prevention Order
