A woman in her 80s has suffered severe injuries in a dog attack, with police arriving on scene to find her with serious bite injuries to her head

An elderly woman has suffered serious to her head after she was mauled by a dog on a residential street in Preston.
Police have arrested a man and seized two dogs following the attack on Lily Grove at around 3.55pm on Saturday.
Officers attended the scene and found the woman had sustained serious bite injuries to her head. She was taken to hospital for treatment.
