{"id":1055,"date":"2026-05-06T17:47:16","date_gmt":"2026-05-06T17:47:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/priscilla-presley-addresses-how-lisa-maries-death-has-separated-her-from-family\/"},"modified":"2026-05-06T17:47:16","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T17:47:16","slug":"priscilla-presley-addresses-how-lisa-maries-death-has-separated-her-from-family","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/priscilla-presley-addresses-how-lisa-maries-death-has-separated-her-from-family\/","title":{"rendered":"Priscilla Presley addresses how Lisa Marie\u2019s death has &#8216;separated&#8217; her from family"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/05\/127123896.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Priscilla Presley doesn\u2019t see her granddaughters as much because they are all focusing on their own lives <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2023\/01\/12\/lisa-marie-presley-dead-at-age-54-report\/\">following Lisa Marie Presley\u2019s sudden death<\/a> three years ago.<\/p>\n<p>The actress, who shared Lisa Marie with late husband Elvis Presley, opened up about how her daughter\u2019s 2023 death affected their family during a speaking event at the Westgate in Las Vegas on May 2.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s kind of separated us in a way,\u201d the \u201cNaked Gun\u201d star, 80, shared. \u201cYou know, we would get together and have meals and have family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Priscilla added that she feels \u201cseparated\u201d from her grandchildren in large part because Lisa Marie\u2019s youngest daughters, 17-year-old twins Harper and Finley Lockwood, have now \u201cgot their boyfriends\u201d and \u201cdo their thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Priscilla Presley (pictured here in November 2024) opened up about how Lisa Marie Presley\u2019s death affected their family during a speaking event at the Westgate in Las Vegas on May 2. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cIt\u2019s kind of separated us in a way,\u201d the actress (seen here with Lisa Marie and Lisa Marie\u2019s three daughters in June 2022) said during the event. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Lisa Marie welcomed three daughters before her tragic 2023 passing: Riley Keough, whom the late singer <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/10\/09\/celebrity-news\/lisa-marie-presley-admits-she-trapped-ex-by-getting-pregnant-with-daughter-riley-memoir\/\">shared with ex-husband Danny Keough<\/a>, and Harper and Finley, whom she <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2023\/04\/15\/lisa-marie-presleys-ex-gets-custody-of-twins-after-long-battle\/\">shared with ex-husband Michael Lockwood<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The late \u201cLights Out\u201d singer also shared a son, Benjamin Keough, with her first husband. Ben tragically <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2020\/07\/12\/lisa-marie-presleys-son-grandson-of-elvis-reportedly-dead-in-suicide\/\">died by suicide in 2020<\/a> at the age of 27.<\/p>\n<p>Priscilla went on to note that she and her granddaughters are still \u201cclose\u201d despite feeling \u201cseparated\u201d from them after Lisa Marie\u2019s death.<\/p>\n<p>But the \u201cDallas\u201d star was interrupted by her son, Navarone Garibaldi, before she could continue her remarks.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Priscilla (pictured here in September 2023) added that she feels \u201cseparated\u201d because the two youngest daughters have now \u201cgot their boyfriends\u201d and \u201cdo their thing.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Lisa Marie (seen here with her fourth husband, Michael Lockwood, and her son, Ben Keough, in November 2010) had four children. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Garibaldi, whom Priscilla <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2023\/01\/13\/navarone-garibaldi-pens-touching-tribute-to-big-sister-lisa-marie-presley-lost-for-words\/\">shares with ex-boyfriend Marco Garibaldi<\/a>, disagreed with his famous mother and claimed their family has felt \u201cseparated\u201d ever since Ben\u2019s death six years ago.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think actually losing Ben was the first thing that separated us,\u201d the 39-year-old said. \u201cWhen you would think that should be something that would bring everyone together, that somehow separated us further because everyone grieves in different ways.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued, \u201cEverybody put blame on somebody in different ways, and just felt different ways about it. Somehow, that separated us further.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cDancing with the Stars\u201d alum\u2019s son went on to say that their family feels \u201ccloser together\u201d and \u201cletting go of those feelings \u201d in the wake of Lisa Marie\u2019s death.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Navarone Garibaldi (pictured here with Priscilla in October 2022) said the family became \u201cseparated\u201d after Ben Keough\u2019s suicide in 2020.  <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Lisa Marie (seen here with her mom in September 2013) died in January 2023 at 54. <span class=\"credit\">Rick Diamond<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Lisa Marie <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2023\/07\/13\/lisa-marie-presleys-cause-of-death-revealed\/\">passed away from a small bowel obstruction<\/a> in January 2023.
