{"id":1137,"date":"2026-05-07T00:58:10","date_gmt":"2026-05-07T00:58:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/justin-baldoni-ecstatic-after-settling-messy-legal-battle-with-blake-lively\/"},"modified":"2026-05-07T00:58:10","modified_gmt":"2026-05-07T00:58:10","slug":"justin-baldoni-ecstatic-after-settling-messy-legal-battle-with-blake-lively","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/justin-baldoni-ecstatic-after-settling-messy-legal-battle-with-blake-lively\/","title":{"rendered":"Justin Baldoni &#8216;ecstatic&#8217; after settling messy legal battle with Blake Lively"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/05\/127150843.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Justin Baldoni is thrilled after <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/04\/celebrity-news\/blake-lively-and-justin-baldoni-reach-shocking-agreement-in-it-ends-with-us-battle-before-trial\/\">settling his messy \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d legal battle<\/a> with co-star Blake Lively.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is ecstatic \u2026 at the results of this and the settlement itself,\u201d the actor\u2019s lawyer, Bryan Freedman,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=mviycV4SbRI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> told \u201cExtra TV\u201d <\/a>in an interview released Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Freedman emphasized that Baldoni was \u201cvery pleased at where this ended up,\u201d clarifying that his client was removed as a defendant in the lawsuit after a judge<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/02\/celebrity-news\/blake-lively-dealt-devastating-blow-in-ongoing-justin-baldoni-harassment-lawsuit\/\"> dismissed 10 out of 13 of Lively\u2019s allegations<\/a>, including her sexual harassment, defamation and conspiracy claims, last month.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Justin Baldoni (seen here in December 2024) is thrilled after settling his legal battle with Blake Lively on Monday. <span class=\"credit\">GC Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Baldoni (pictured here on the set of \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d alongside Lively) is \u201cecstatic\u201d over the results of the case \u201cand the settlement itself,\u201d his lawyer, Bryan Freedman, told \u201cExtra TV\u201d Wednesday. <span class=\"credit\">GC Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cThis is not his settlement,\u201d Freedman noted, explaining that Baldoni, 42, was already \u201cout of the case\u201d by the time settlement conversations picked back up over the weekend. However, Baldoni\u2019s production company, Wayfarer Studios, was still involved.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think there was an urgency to try and get it done as quickly as possible,\u201d the attorney continued. \u201cI think Justin and the other individuals felt pretty comfortable [with] where they were at the time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Freedman stated that the case was \u201cvery different\u201d after several of Lively\u2019s allegations were tossed out, which ultimately changed settlement discussions.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Freedman (seen above) shared that Baldoni was dismissed from the lawsuit after a judge threw out 10 out of 13 of Lively\u2019s allegations last month. <span class=\"credit\">Paul Martinka for NY Post<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cI think there was an urgency to try and get it done as quickly as possible,\u201d Freedman continued. Seen here: Baldoni and Lively on the \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d set. <span class=\"credit\">GC Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>According to Freedman, Baldoni will also continue to be an \u201cadvocate for women\u2019s rights and advocate for the domestic violence survivor community, which has been unfortunately overlooked by this battle that went on.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Freedman\u2019s latest interview surfaced shortly before <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/06\/celebrity-news\/justin-baldoni-all-smiles-in-first-sighting-since-blake-lively-settlement\/\">Baldoni was photographed out and about in Nashville<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Baldoni was photographed smiling in Nashville on Wednesday (as seen above), just two days after settling the \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d legal drama with Lively. <span class=\"credit\">Derek Shook for Page Six<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Baldoni and his wife, Emily, held hands as they left a local eatery, wearing matching baseball caps and light-wash jeans (as seen above). <span class=\"credit\">Derek Shook for Page Six<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The \u201cGossip Girl\u201d actress, on the other hand, made her first public appearance following the end of the \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d drama Monday at the Met Gala.<\/p>\n<p>Only three of Lively\u2019s\u2019s claims <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/12\/31\/celebrity-news\/blake-lively-sues-justin-baldoni-over-it-ends-with-us-feud\/\">from her December 2024 lawsuit<\/a>, including breach of contract, retaliation and aiding and abetting in retaliation, were set to go to court on May 18.<\/p>\n<p>Baldoni has continuously denied the allegations against him and initially\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/01\/16\/celebrity-news\/justin-baldoni-drags-taylor-swift-into-it-ends-with-us-legal-battle-as-he-sues-blake-lively-ryan-reynolds-for-400m\/\">filed a $400 million countersuit<\/a>\u00a0against the actress in January 2025.
