had a request to be moved from prison to a royal residence denied, as he awaits the ruling of his high-profile rape case.<!-- --><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The 29-year-old <a target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/all-about\/crime\" rel=\"follow\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\">has been charged<\/a> with 32 counts, including alleged rape, abuse in a close relationship against one former partner, and acts of violence against another, making death threats, and numerous traffic violations. <!-- -->The seven-week trial concluded in March, and H\u00f8iby has been awaiting the ruling and sentencing from a prison in Oslo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">According to local media, the step-son of <a target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/all-about\/haakon-crown-prince-of-norway\" rel=\"follow\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\">Norway\u2019s Crown Prince Haakon<\/a> petitioned to the court to be allowed to leave prison and complete his remand at the royal estate of Skaugum, Crown Princess Mette-Marit is battling pulmonary fibrosis and was recently seen using a nasal cannula device to assist with oxygen flow.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The 29-year-old also detailed a \u201chard life\u201d in solitary confinement, telling the court that isolation was harming him. According to local media, he said: &#8220;I have extremely little human contact, only two or three visits a week.
