{"id":1355,"date":"2026-05-08T14:30:06","date_gmt":"2026-05-08T14:30:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/deadliest-catch-star-jake-anderson-announces-divorce-from-wife\/"},"modified":"2026-05-08T14:30:06","modified_gmt":"2026-05-08T14:30:06","slug":"deadliest-catch-star-jake-anderson-announces-divorce-from-wife","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/deadliest-catch-star-jake-anderson-announces-divorce-from-wife\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Deadliest Catch&#8217; star Jake Anderson announces divorce from wife"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/05\/127257699.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cDeadliest Catch\u201d star Jake Anderson is getting divorced from his wife of 13 years, Jenna Anderson.<\/p>\n<p>Jake reveals the couple\u2019s split during the Season 22 premiere that filmed last fall and is airing tonight on Discovery Channel,<a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/deadliest-catch-jake-anderson-confirms-divorce-jenna-13-years-11969889\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> according to People.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter 17 years being together, 13 years married, Jenna and I have decided to call it quits,\u201d\u00a0the 45-year-old shares.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span class=\"credit\">jakevanderson\/Twitter<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Jake says while the split is \u201cdue to a lot of things,\u201d the \u201cmajor\u201d reason is that he\u2019s \u201cgone too much crab fishing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But Jake notes that he has to work hard to help support his and Jenna\u2019s three children, sons Aiden, 11, and Luka, 6, and daughter Cadence, 8.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI got three little ones that need to eat, that have to go to school, that have to have doctor\u2019s appointments, and I don\u2019t have a job,\u201d he explains.<\/p>\n<p>Jake says that the pair had been separated for eight months when they filmed the episode.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span class=\"credit\">jakeavnderson\/Twitter<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span class=\"credit\">jakevanderson\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The reality star previously told <a href=\"http:\/\/screenertv.com\/news-features\/deadliest-catch-jake-anderson-and-jenna-patterson-tie-the-knot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Screener TV<\/a> that the couple met in 2009 at a festival in Seattle when Jenna and her family went up to Jake and asked for an autograph. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI autographed [her item with], \u2018You\u2019re beautiful,\u2019\u201d Jake recalled. \u201cI was trying to stay out of trouble, so I was living on the boat.
