She\u2019s here. I mean, she\u2019s not <em>here<\/em>. He\u2019s here, isn\u2019t he?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cGod\u2019s Country\u201d singer, 49, kicked off his eight-show \u201cBlake Shelton: Live in Las Vegas\u201d on Wednesday night \u2013 the same night that Stefani, 56, and No Doubt launched their first of 18 shows at the Sphere.<\/p>\n<p>Shelton acknowledged that his and his wife\u2019s respective residencies would overlap<a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/blake-shelton-new-vegas-dates-compete-with-wife-gwen-stefani-no-doubt-sphere-shows-exclusive-11896796\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> during an interview with People<\/a> back in January.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cWhat kind of a d\u2013khead books us the exact same nights every single night?\u201d Shelton (pictured here with Stefani in March 2025) said during his own concert on Wednesday night. \u201cI think my manager did that.  <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images for the Grand Ole Opry<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The country star (seen here performing with Ronnie Milsap this past February) kicked off his eight-show \u201cBlake Shelton: Live in Las Vegas\u201d at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Wednesday night. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019ll be interesting because I\u2019ll be in direct competition with my wife,\u201d the country star told the outlet. \u201cI\u2019m excited about that because I know there\u2019ll be probably a little bit of trash talking.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued, \u201cWhether we both sell out, there\u2019s a big difference in selling out the Sphere and selling out Caesars, so she\u2019ll have that over my head.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shelton also joked that \u201cit\u2019s not very friendly\u201d competition when it\u2019s \u201cabsolute ass-kicking.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But the pair\u2019s respective Las Vegas residencies also come in the wake of <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/11\/30\/celebrity-news\/gwen-stefani-sends-pointed-message-as-blake-shelton-split-rumors-loom\/\">rumors that the couple was divorcing<\/a> after less than five years of marriage.<\/p>\n<p>The split rumors began when the power couple released their hit breakup duet \u201cHangin\u2019 On\u201d in March 2025.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Shelton (pictured here this past February) knew his and Stefani\u2019s residencies would overlap as far back as January. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Shelton also joked that he and Stefani (seen here during her and No Doubt\u2019s first Sphere concert) were in \u201ccompetition\u201d regarding their respective residencies. <span class=\"credit\">Brian Prahl \/ SplashNews.com<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Speculation about the pair\u2019s marriage heightened in November 2025 when they didn\u2019t attend the CMA Awards despite Shelton\u2019s track \u201cPour Me a Drink\u201d getting nominated for Musical Event of the Year.<\/p>\n<p>Shelton addressed the divorce rumors earlier this year during a chat with Country Countdown USA.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t believe anything anymore that I see on the internet,\u201d he explained in January. \u201cI mean, nothing.
