But we did get in the car on the way to the wedding, and my mother was like [does a wiseguy voice], \u2018Listen, if you feel uncomfortable about this\u2026&#8217;\u201d Jerry remembered before Linda chimed in, \u201cYou don\u2019t have to do this.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Jerry O\u2019Connell recalled how his mom, Linda, outlined an escape plan on his wedding day to Rebecca Romijn. <span class=\"credit\">LiveKellyandMark\/ youtube<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>O\u2019Connell and Romijn, seen here in 2024, married in 2007. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>The \u201cStand by Me\u201d star continued his impression of his mom as a mob boss: \u201cYou don\u2019t gotta do this! I\u2019m just sayin\u2019! You can, if you want\u2026 You can go to the airport \u2014 no questions. We\u2019ll cover for you. It\u2019s okay. You sure about this? She\u2019s a beautiful girl, she\u2019s very nice, but you sure about this?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ripa and Conseulos joked that Jerry was making Linda sound like a \u201cmobster\u201d and to \u201cmake a run for it,\u201d prompting Jerry to add that his mother loves \u201ceverything\u201d about Romijn, to which Linda heartily agreed, \u201cI do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The model and \u201cX-Men\u201d star, 53, married O\u2019Connell in 2007. They welcomed <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/10\/20\/parents\/jerry-oconnell-rebecca-romijns-twins-16-look-all-grown-up-at-homecoming-dance\/\">twin girls, Charlie and Dolly, now 17, <\/a>the following year.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The couple share twin daughters, Charlie and Dolly. <span class=\"credit\">jerry o&#8217;connell\/ instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Jerry claims his mom, seen here with Romijn and her granddaughters, told her son, \u201cYou don\u2019t gotta do this!\u201d <span class=\"credit\">jerry o&#8217;connell\/ instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>She was previously <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/11\/24\/celebrity-news\/jerry-oconnell-and-john-stamos-finally-bury-the-hatchet-in-years-long-feud-over-rebecca-romijn\/\">married to John Stamos.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Last year, Romijn revealed the <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/07\/17\/celebrity-news\/jerry-oconnell-and-rebecca-romijn-make-surprising-marriage-confession-after-18-years-together\/\">secret to their successful marriage.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe keep our money completely separate,\u201d Romijn said on SiriusXM\u2019s \u201cAndy Cohen Live,\u201d acknowledging that there is a \u201ccommunity pot\u201d for familial expenses they contribute to \u201cquarterly.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>O\u2019Connell quickly clarified that his mother now loves \u201ceverything\u201d about Romijn.
