The much younger version of her kids sported cute costumes as she snuggled up to them, with Laila rocking a colorful tulle dress, and Louis sporting a magician get-up.<\/p>\n<p>In her heartwarming carousel, Bullock also shared snaps of her late grandmother and her late mother, Helga Meyer. We are all bound by this honor of a lifetime.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMom and Omi, thank you for teaching me,\u201d she added. \u201cWe miss you \u2764\ufe0f Sorry I was such a brat.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meyer died in April 2000 after battling cancer.<\/p>\n<p>She adopted Louis in 2010, and announced she had adopted Laila in 2015. She\u2019s kept both of her children largely out of the public eye, and only <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/15\/celebrity-news\/sandra-bullock-makes-instagram-debut-with-practical-magic-2-tease\/\">joined Instagram last month<\/a> while promoting her latest film, \u201cPractical Magic 2.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Bullock\u2019s mom, pictured here in March 1999, died in 2000. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Meyer died after a battle with cancer. Bullock and her mom are pictured here with Buzz Aldrin in October 1998. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Bullock was seen with her children in Los Angeles back in October 2024, with Louis <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/10\/14\/parents\/sandra-bullocks-son-louis-15-towers-over-actress-in-rare-la-outing\/\">towering over her.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The family of three was photographed looking relaxed while striking up a conversation and standing outside of their car.<\/p>\n<p>Bullock noted that she prioritized her kids\u2019s schedules while speaking at the CNBC Changemakers Summit in New York City last month about filming \u201cPractical Magic 2\u201d \u2014 the long-awaited sequel to 1998\u2019s \u201cPractical Magic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI made this film at this time because I knew my kids were out of school. I\u2019m not going to sacrifice my children\u2019s \u2014 my time \u2014 with my kids,\u201d she said, <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/sandra-bullock-shares-rare-throwback-photo-kids-louis-laila-11971123\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">per People<\/a>. \u201cThey\u2019d be happy if I was gone. I would not. So many people don\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She added, \u201cAnd I understand that grief and that angst when you are at work, going, \u2018I\u2019m not where I need to be right now. I\u2019m here being performative and doing my job.\u2019 But guess what? Women can do it.
