Apparently Black does crack if it\u2019s married to Sheryl and jumps off a f\u2013king roof,\u201d he said, as Underwood laughed. <\/p>\n<p>Gillis, 38, also quipped, \u201cI do it from the balcony. I do it from the upper decks. F\u2013k all these people down here.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Underwood (pictured above) laughed at the joke about her late husband. <span class=\"credit\">Netflix<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>She even had to cover her face in laughter after Hinchcliffe made his joke. <span class=\"credit\">Netflix<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In his next joke, he said, \u201cThe Golden State Warriors logo is a bridge. Don\u2019t show that to Sheryl\u2019s husband. Seriously, keep that bridge away from Sheryl\u2019s husband.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As Underwood kept laughing, Gillis told the crowd, \u201cI called her yesterday. Shut up. I felt terrible about that. I had to call her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe was crazy about it. She was like, \u2018You gonna make fun of my husband who fell off a bridge?\u2019 I was like, \u2018Yup,&#8217;\u201d he said with a smile.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Host Shane Gillis (seen above) also made multiple jokes about Underwood\u2019s husband\u2019s suicide. <span class=\"credit\">Netflix<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Gillis joked: \u201cThe Golden State Warriors logo is a bridge. Seriously, keep that bridge away from Sheryl\u2019s husband.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images for Netflix<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Hinchcliffe\u2019s joke sparked backlash on social media.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat was harsh,\u201d one person <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Towerz_App\/status\/2053660289195790796\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s just not funny at all,\u201d someone else said. <\/p>\n<p>Another fan <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Ofaye9\/status\/2053721342004838570\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tweeted<\/a>, \u201cIs this suppose to be funny? He went too far with that statement.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is in bad taste,\u201d a different person wrote.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Underwood (seen above) similarly laughed off Gillis\u2019 jokes about the tragedy. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images for Netflix<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>However, some fans online said the jokes were \u201charsh,\u201d \u201cin bad taste\u201d and \u201cnot funny at all.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images for Netflix<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Underwood and her husband, whose name she\u2019s never revealed, were married for three years when he took his own life in 1990.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2018\/06\/07\/sheryl-underwood-reveals-husbands-suicide-while-discussing-kate-spade\/\">She opened up about the his death<\/a> during a discussion about <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2018\/06\/05\/kate-spade-dead-at-55\/\">Kate Spade\u2019s suicide<\/a> on \u201cThe Talk\u201d in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m kinda emotional about this because as you know my husband killed himself,\u201d\u00a0a teary-eyed Underwood told her co-hosts. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou will never know. For people who think they know. You\u2019ll never know if it\u2019s clinical depression.
