She attempted to sleep it off but woke up in the middle of the night in \u201cexcruciating pain.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI start projectile vomiting, I\u2019m laying on the bathroom floor, literally convulsing,\u201d she recalled.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Brianna \u201cChickenfry\u201d LaPaglia revealed she underwent emergency surgery over the weekend after a large cyst twisted her ovaries. <span class=\"credit\">ihatebriannachickenfry\/TikTok<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>In a TikTok video she posted Monday, the influencer said she was in excruciating pain and projectile vomiting before she had the man she was \u201ckind of dating\u201d take her to the emergency room. <span class=\"credit\">ihatebriannachickenfry\/TikTok<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>After the pain progressed to a \u201c20 out of 10,\u201d she had the man she was with take her to the emergency room, where a male doctor initially dismissed her pain as just being caused by consuming the fast food.<\/p>\n<p>However, after undergoing a vaginal ultrasound, they discovered she had a large cyst on her ovaries that had to be removed immediately.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/my.clevelandclinic.org\/health\/diseases\/ovarian-torsion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Cleveland Clinic<\/a>, ovarian torsion occurs when large cysts cause an ovary to twist. The twisting can cut off the blood supply to the affected ovary \u2014 causing sudden, severe abdominal pain \u2014 which requires emergency care.<\/p>\n<p>LaPaglia was rushed into an ambulance to undergo emergency surgery at another hospital.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere was half a liter of blood on my pelvic floor, that\u2019s where, essentially, all the pain was coming from,\u201d she explained. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>LaPaglia posted a short video from the hospital after undergoing emergency surgery to remove her \u201cgiant\u201d cyst. <span class=\"credit\">ihatebriannachickenfry\/TikTok<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The podcaster shared that she was also now \u201chomeless\u201d since she was supposed to move into her new apartment the day she had to undergo emergency surgery. <span class=\"credit\">ihatebriannachickenfry\/TikTok<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The podcaster said doctors drained all the blood and fully removed the cyst. She praised the all-female team who performed her surgery, calling them \u201cbadasses.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>LaPaglia also shared that the man she was \u201ckind of dating\u201d was incredible toward her throughout the whole ordeal \u2014 even letting her stay with him after she was \u201chomeless,\u201d since she was supposed to move into her new apartment the day she underwent surgery.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis poor guy, who is amazing, completely taking care of me, like, I don\u2019t know what I would have done without him and now I\u2019m just, like, staying in his house, I feel so bad,\u201d she told her followers, while sitting on his couch.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>LaPaglia did not reveal the man she was dating, but noted he took great care of her during her health emergency. <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/Brianna Chickenfry<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>LaPaglia\u2019s last public boyfriend was Zach Bryan.
