I will miss him so much \u2764\ufe0f I\u2019m so sad he is gone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A cause of death was not revealed.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cSurvivor\u201d host Jeff Probst (seen here in February 2026) is mourning the death of his brother, Scott. <span class=\"credit\">Todd Owyoung\/NBC via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>On Monday, the TV personality\u2019s brother Brent announced the death of their brother Scott (pictured above). <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/Brent Probst<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm2571305\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">his IMDb page<\/a>, Scott previously worked with Jeff on \u2018Survivor,\u2019 working in the art department, the property department and the camera and electrical department in various roles between 2006 and 2012.<\/p>\n<p>He also worked in video games, serving as production coordinator on 2003\u2019s \u201cMedal of Honor: Rising Sun\u201d and as producer on 2005\u2019s \u201cMedal of Honor: European Assault\u201d and 2010\u2019s \u201cCommand &amp; Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Brent wrote that Scott was a \u201ca great brother\u201d to him and Jeff (seen here in 2003) as well as a \u201cson and friend.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">CBS via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Scott previously worked on \u201cSurvivor\u201d in various capacities between 2006 and 2012 alongside Jeff (pictured here in 2002). <span class=\"credit\">WireImage<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>This isn\u2019t the only way \u201cSurvivor\u201d has been a family affair over the years.<\/p>\n<p>Brent\u2019s daughter, Abigail, joined the \u201cDream Team\u201d \u2014 the group of crew members who test the CBS reality show\u2019s challenges and assist in various departments \u2014 in 2024 and is back for the landmark 50th season, currently airing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe kicks ass,\u201d Jeff <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/how-survivor-has-become-a-family-affair-behind-the-scenes-including-jeff-probst-niece-exclusive-11812910\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told People<\/a> of Abigail\u2019s efforts. \u201cShe came in with a last name that put a little bit of a spotlight on her, but she got the job on her own. She got asked back on her own.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I know it\u2019s a little weird because the last name is Probst, but had she not earned it, she wouldn\u2019t be back,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Scott isn\u2019t the only member of Jeff\u2019s (seen here in 2003) family to work on \u201cSurvivor\u201d as his niece, Brent\u2019s daughter, is currently on the \u201cDream Team.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">CBS via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Jeff (seen here in February) is currently hosting the landmark 50th season of the CBS reality show. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images for CBS Broadcasting Inc.<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Though Jeff rarely speaks about his family in interviews, he has opened up about how being raised in Kansas, before his family moved to Washington state when he was 15, influenced his life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve lived in Seattle, New York and Los Angeles and traveled all over the world with \u2018Survivor,\u2019 but there is nowhere else I would have rather grown up than Wichita, Kansas,\u201d he told the Topeka Capital-Journal in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI had great friendships.
