The comforts of shock have worn off. The reality is settling in \u2026 and I miss him. I know him more deeply. My conscious connection to God has deepened.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe veils of the universe have thinned. And I trust that this is the path me and my family have always been intended to walk.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She expressed her gratitude for the \u201coutpouring of support\u201d she and her family have received that has been \u201cbeyond anything [she] could have ever expected.\u201d <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cWords just don\u2019t capture what grief is. And in time \u2014 I will,\u201d Kimberly concluded.<\/p>\n<p>The matriarch and Van Der Beek tied the knot in 2010. They shared six kids: Olivia, Annabel, Emilia and Gwendolyn, Joshua and Jeremiah.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cDawson\u2019s Creek\u201d alum passed away at the age of 48 after<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/11\/03\/celebrity-news\/james-van-der-beek-diagnosed-with-colorectal-cancer\/\"> battling colorectal cancer<\/a>. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Kimberly shared that she can \u201cfeel\u201d her late husband (seen here) in the air. <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/Kimberly Van Der Beek<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The couple shared six kids together. <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/Kimberly Van Der Beek<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cHe met his final days with courage, faith and grace. There is much to share regarding his wishes, love for humanity and the sacredness of time.
