\u201cWait, why are you all covering your mouths?\u201d she asked. \u201cOh my God, have you guys got fake teeth in?\u201d<\/p>\nAimee Lou Wood poked fun at her \u201cSNL\u201d teeth drama in a teaser for her upcoming hosting stint on \u201cSNL UK,\u201d as seen above. Instagram\/@snluk<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\nIn the clip, Wood joked that she could not \u201cwait to get started\u201d on the episode after \u201cthat whole \u2018thing\u2019 in America with the teeth.\u201d Instagram\/@snluk<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<\/aside>\nFearing that the comedians upset the actress, the group quickly denied the accusation. But Wood wasn\u2019t having it.<\/p>\n
\u201cWow, so this is all one big set up to humiliate me then? I thought \u2018SNL UK would be different, but I was wrong,\u201d she hit back.<\/p>\n
Finally, one of the jokesters revealed they \u201call grew big glorious mustaches\u201d in an attempt to match their co-star Paddy Young, who\u2019s garnered much attention for his facial hair.<\/p>\n
They closed out the sketch by giving Wood her own mustache before hugging it out.<\/p>\nWood became the focus of an \u201cSNL\u201d sketch making light of her \u201cWhite Lotus\u201d character, Chelsea, in an April 2025 episode. The sketch was a pre-taped spoof of \u201cThe White Lotus,\u201d which starred Sherman as a parodied version of Wood\u2019s character, Chelsea, wearing an enlarged set of false teeth and sporting an exaggerated British accent.<\/p>\n
\u201cFluoride? What\u2019s that?\u201d she joked, obviously making a wise crack about the actress\u2019 real teeth.<\/p>\n
Wood slammed the sketch in a rant shared to her Instagram Stories the following morning.<\/p>\nWood (pictured above in a selfie) responded to the sketch the following morning, calling it \u201cmean\u201d and \u201cunfunny.\u201d Instagram\/@aimeelouwood<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\nThe actress, seen above at the HBO Max UK and Ireland launch party on March 25, later revealed that the show apologized to her. Wood later revealed that \u201cSNL\u201d has apologized to her for the sketch. Though, a source later claimed the show did not extend a \u201cformal apology\u201d<\/a> to the star. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
