I don\u2019t know what\u2019s wrong,\u201d Handler said.<\/p>\n<p>The 51-year-old comedian said she originally wanted to help women connect with quality men but quickly realized many successful women <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/03\/29\/lifestyle\/relationship-experts-reveal-why-women-are-staying-single-avoiding-marriage-profound-shift\/\">are facing the same frustration<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, I was initially trying to help straight women meet straight men,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut I think with\u00a0dating apps and social media, there\u2019s just so much abundance and so much choice that nobody really feels like they have to \u2026 lock it in.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Chelsea Handler blasted modern dating on Howie Mandel\u2019s podcast, claiming men won\u2019t commit due to endless options.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>According to Handler,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/08\/19\/lifestyle\/singles-sick-of-swiping-are-giving-up-apps-and-looking-for-love-on-hiking-trails-here-at-least-people-dont-ghost-you\/\">swipe culture has destroyed effort<\/a>\u00a0in modern romance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey can swipe through 50 women a day,\u201d she said. \u201cSo they\u2019re\u00a0not making the effort that\u00a0people used to make to date.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Handler then praised the women she knows as ambitious and accomplished, while claiming many of them are all running into the same dead end.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Handler with her ex Jo Koy at the People\u2019s Choice Awards on December 7, 2021 in Santa Monica, California. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images,<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI meet all these amazing, incredible women that are like bada\u2014-,\u201d she said. \u201cThey have their own lives, they have their big jobs and they\u2019re all just like, \u2018There\u2019s no men out there.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Handler said she\u2019s embracing casual dating on her own terms.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wouldn\u2019t say I\u2019m in a relationship,\u201d she admitted. \u201cI would say I\u2019m dabbling in different areas of my life.
