has the \u201cdiet of a 5-year-old,\u201d her husband, Benny Blanco, told Gwyneth Paltrow during a \u201cGoop\u201d podcast taping Tuesday, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.com\/tvshowbiz\/article-15815685\/selena-gomez-junk-food-diet-benny-blanco.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according to the Daily Mail<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The 38-year-old record producer left Paltrow, 53, horrified as he broke down his wife\u2019s eating habits during the West Hollywood event.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image revealed, identifying Gomez\u2019s two favorites as \u201cburgers and fries.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gasping, Paltrow replied, \u201cThis is NOT Goop approved!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Blanco, after assuring Paltrow that Gomez, 33, \u201ceats the s\u2013t out of\u201d the Oscar winner\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/04\/21\/lifestyle\/goop-kitchen-nyc-the-post-tries-gwyneths-delivery-menu\/\">Goop Kitchen options<\/a>, said his spouse mainly prefers \u201cwhatever is bad for your diet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The former Disney Channel star, he noted, \u201cdoesn\u2019t really like fruits or for her part, has made headlines over the years for her <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2023\/03\/17\/meghan-mccain-blasts-gwyneth-paltrows-starvation-diet\/\">strict diet choices<\/a>, including a <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/04\/24\/celebrity-news\/gwyneth-paltrow-quits-paleo-diet-after-becoming-obsessed-with-eating-healthily\/\">\u201chardcore macrobiotic\u201d phase<\/a> with \u201clots of fish, vegetables, rice, no dairy [and] no sugar.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>By April 2025, the \u201cShakespeare In Love\u201d star was \u201cgetting back into eating sourdough bread, cheese [and] \u2026 a little pasta.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gomez, notably, launched \u201cSelena + Chef\u201d in 2020 to stop being a \u201ccomplete disaster\u201d in the kitchen \u2014 with the help of professionals.<\/p>\n<p>While the \u201cWizards of Waverly Place\u201d alum <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/food\/selena-gomez-says-her-cooking-has-come-a-long-way-in-4-seasons-of-selena-chef\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">confessed to People<\/a> in 2022 that she still has her \u201cmoments,\u201d she acknowledged having \u201ccome a long way.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gushed on \u201cThe Late Show With Stephen Colbert\u201d<\/a> that same year that Blanco, however, does cook \u201cvery well.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure
