He still enjoys doing it. He\u2019s still, I think, very good at it. I think it keeps him connected,\u201d she shared. <\/p>\n<p>Beth, 53, explained that the radio show provides her husband, 72, an \u201coutlet\u201d to share his many thoughts. <\/p>\n<p>Last December, the comedian announced to his listeners that he signed a contract with SiriusXM to <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/12\/16\/celebrity-news\/howard-sterns-future-with-siriusxm-revealed-after-retirement-rumors\/\">continue his radio show for three more years<\/a> amid swirling <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/08\/06\/celebrity-news\/howard-sterns-siriusxm-show-in-jeopardy-as-500m-contract-nears-its-end-report\/\">retirement rumors<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Beth (pictured here with Howard in 2014) also revealed that she plays a \u201cvery influential\u201d role in the negotiation process and shared why she pushed him to continue to the radio show. <span class=\"credit\">Larry Busacca<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cI feel that it\u2019s very good for him to continue [with SiriusXM]. Yes, we are coming back for three years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In his announcement, Howard added that his new contract will give him more \u201cflexibility.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI do like my days off. You know me, I\u2019m never bored. I\u2019m busy every minute,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n<p>Beth\u2019s recent comments come weeks after she and Howard were <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/06\/celebrity-news\/howard-stern-sued-by-ex-assistant-as-she-exposes-alleged-hostile-work-environment\/\">sued by their former executive assistant<\/a> Leslie Kuhn, who accused them of creating a hostile work environment, in April.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Last December, the shock jock announced that he signed a contract with SiriusXM to continue his radio show for three more years despite retirement rumors. <span class=\"credit\">The Howard Stern Show\/YouTube<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Howard noted that the new contract gives him more \u201cflexibility\u201d in his schedule. <span class=\"credit\">@sternshow\/X<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Kuhn also claimed Howard\u2019s production company presented her with a nondisclosure agreement that she denies ever signing.
