In his song, \u201cMake Them Pay,\u201d Drake  raps, \u201cDog, I was aiding Ross with streams before Adin Ross had ever streamed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ross, for his part, is releasing his 12th studio album next month \u2014 and he tells us there will definitely be a diss track or two. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s always diss tracks. You know Rozay,\u201d he laughed, referring to his nickname. \u201cIt wouldn\u2019t be fun if it wasn\u2019t. That competitive spirit, to me, is what made Hip Hop what it was. It has to be competitive.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cLife is competitive,\u201d he continued. \u201cYou know, people could try to make it as sweet as possible, and I get it, but this is a success as a competitive sport.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>When asked where he stands with Drake, Ross (pictured here) bluntly told Page Six, \u201cIt\u2019s nothing.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">Sovereign Brands<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The Grammy-nominated artist (right) also told Page Six there would definitely be diss tracks on his new album. <span class=\"credit\">Sovereign Brands<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He also said that his new music will definitely inspire some \u201cconversations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m sure the Rozay fans know, I love to shock people. I love to cause, not controversy, but things to discuss,\u201d he said. \u201cConversations will most definitely be taking place about the music and it\u2019s beautiful.\u201d  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Boss\u201d artist didn\u2019t specify if any diss tracks would be about Drizzy, but he did share the names of his collaborators on the new project, divulging that he has songs with BigXthaPlug, Don Toliver, The-Dream, and T.I. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI feel possibly [\u201cSet in Stone\u201d] could be one of my best albums, if not my best,\u201d he gushed. <\/p>\n<p>Ross, 50, and Drake, 39, had several hits together, including 2010\u2019s \u201cAston Martin Music,\u201d 2012\u2019s \u201cStay Schemin\u2019,\u201d 2019\u2019s \u201cMoney in the Grave,\u201d 2021\u2019s \u201cLemon Pepper Freestyle,\u201d and several more. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>His \u201cSet in Stone\u201d album (pictured above) is set to be released on June 12.  <span class=\"credit\">Gamma<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Ross and Drake (seen here in 2013) collaborated on several songs together in the past.  <span class=\"credit\">WireImage<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Despite being close collaborators for more than a decade, their relationship publicly unraveled when Ross showed his loyalty toward Kendrick Lamar during the latter\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/celebrity-news\/drake-kendrick-lamar-drama-explained\/\">massive 2024 rap war with Drake. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>After Lamar dropped the diss track aimed at Drake, \u201cNot Like Us,\u201d Champagne Papi hit back in April 2024 with his own shady track, \u201cPush Ups,\u201d taking shots at the \u201cSwimming Pool\u201d rapper, Ross, the Weeknd, Metro Boomin and Future.<\/p>\n<p>Ross also accused Drake of using ghostwriters in his 2024 diss track \u201cChampagne Moments.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>He further fueled speculation that there was beef with Drake when Ross skipped over the \u201cOne Dance\u201d rapper\u2019s verses while performing their song \u201cAston Martin Music\u201d in a \u201cVerzuz\u201d battle with French Montana earlier this month.   <\/p>\n<p>When asked why he skipped over Drake\u2019s lines, he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=hXoNFm1lyyM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told Apple Music\u2019s\u00a0\u201cRap Life Review\u201d<\/a> that he was just \u201cbeing a boss.\u201d <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Ross (seen here in 2023) seemed to take Kendrick Lamar\u2019s side in his feud with the \u201cGod\u2019s Plan\u201d rapper.  <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images for AfroTech<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Drake (seen here in 2025) released a diss track about Lamar, Ross and other rappers in 2024.  <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>However, he then wished Drake well, telling listeners,\u00a0\u201cDrake, if you listening to this homie, listen to me, my n\u2014-a, shine. I don\u2019t want to see you lose. No real n\u2014a want to see you lose. That ain\u2019t what about. How did you get here? How did you do this?\u2019 And I try to put it in a way where you could digest it,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is like my personal let\u2019s go riding with me,\u201d he continued. \u201cThis is what life is.
