I have been for a long time!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She, notably, has been <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2011\/04\/29\/history-is-made-kate-william-are-married\/\">married to William<\/a> since May 2011 \u2014 and <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/article\/prince-william-and-kate-middletons-relationship-timeline\/\">in a relationship<\/a> with him since 2003.<\/p>\n<p>The princess \u201chas always seen her role as a supporting one,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.com\/uk\/royal-family\/article\/king-prince-william-will-be-lsd3z92dx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Times reported<\/a> last year, alleging she acts as \u201ca gatekeeper to ensure that William can do his work while also finding time to be a hands-on father\u201d to their <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/article\/prince-william-kate-middleton-kids\/\">three children<\/a> \u2014 Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8.<\/p>\n<figure href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/06\/royal-family\/kate-middleton-returning-to-major-royal-duty-1-year-into-cancer-recovery\/\">traveled to to Reggio Emilia, Italy<\/a>, alongside the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.<\/p>\n<p>The princess launched the foundation, which raises awareness of how childhood experiences can impact their lives later on, in 2021. <\/p>\n<figure href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/03\/22\/royal-family\/kate-middleton-reveals-she-has-cancer\/\">diagnosed with cancer<\/a>\u00a0in March 2024.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, Middleton announced she was undergoing treatment.<\/p>\n<p>By September, she had\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/09\/09\/royal-family\/kate-middleton-has-finished-her-cancer-treatment\/\">completed the \u201cincredibly tough\u201d chemotherapy<\/a> \u2014 and, four months later, Middleton revealed she <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/01\/14\/royal-family\/kate-middleton-reveals-she-is-in-remission-from-cancer-after-surprise-hospital-visit\/\">was in remission<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure Colour<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While visiting the Colchester Hospital in July 2025, Middleton\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/07\/02\/entertainment\/kate-middleton-details-difficult-post-cancer-treatment-phase-after-missing-royal-ascot\/\">opened up about her life href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/02\/05\/royal-family\/king-charles-diagnosed-with-cancer-following-surgery\/\">diagnosed with cancer in 2024<\/a>\u00a0but has\u00a0\u201cresponded exceptionally well to treatment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In October, while on Eugene Levy\u2019s \u201cThe Reluctant Traveler,\u201d William said watching <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/article\/royal-family-tree-line-of-succession\/\">his family<\/a> members <a
