It\u2019s a natural progression.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Kelly Reilly\u2019s Beth (pictured with Cole Hauser in \u201cDutton Ranch\u201d) will be more \u201cmature\u201d and \u201cdangerous.\u201d  <span class=\"credit\">Emerson Miller\/Paramount+<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Christina Alexandra Voros (pictured with Reilly at the \u201cDutton Ranch\u201d New York premiere May 13, 2026 in New York City) is the de facto leader of the show, behind the scenes.  <span class=\"credit\">WireImage<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cYellowstone\u201d was wildly popular, drawing in over 16 million viewers. Starring Reilly, Cole Hauser, and Kevin Costner, it followed Costner\u2019s character, John Dutton, a powerful Montana rancher. It aired from 2018-2024, and John didn\u2019t survive the show.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDutton Ranch\u201d picks up following Beth and her husband, Rip (Hauser) after the events of \u201cYellowstone,\u201d as they\u2019ve moved to Texas.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The show is exec produced by Sheridan, but created by Chad Feehan (who <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/24\/entertainment\/dutton-ranch-drama-yellowstone-spinoff-showrunner-quietly-let-go-3-weeks-before-premiere\/\">was let go three weeks before premiere<\/a>), making Voros the de facto captain of the ship, behind the scenes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Voros (pictured on May 12 at the \u201cDutton Ranch\u201d NYC premiere) said Taylor Sheridan is \u201cexcited\u201d about the show.  <span class=\"credit\">Ron Adar \/ M10s \/ SplashNews.com<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Reilly\u2019s Beth (pictured in \u201cDutton Ranch\u201d) moves to Texas in the new show.  <span class=\"credit\">Emerson Miller\/Paramount+<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Some of the familiar characters from \u201cYellowstone,\u201d such as Rip\u2019s trusty ranch hand, Ryan (Ian Bohen) aren\u2019t on \u201cDutton Ranch.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cI don\u2019t know why\u201d he didn\u2019t come back, Voros said about Ian Bohen\u2019s Ryan (pictured in \u201cYellowstone.\u201d) <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Beth (pictured on \u201cDutton Ranch\u201d) wants peace.  <span class=\"credit\">Emerson Miller\/Paramount+<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Beth\u2019s brother, Kayce (Luke Grimes) has <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/02\/23\/entertainment\/yellowstone-gives-boring-kayce-a-marshals-spinoff-review\/\">his own spinoff show, CBS\u2019s \u201cMarshals.\u201d\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s not currently on \u201cDutton Ranch,\u201d but could he show up in the future?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would love that. I miss Luke terribly,\u201d said Voros.\u00a0She added that she does not know \u201cwhat is in store, and what cross pollination may or may not happen between the shows. We all miss each other a lot.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Voros said she would love for Luke Grimes (pictured with Reilly on \u201cYellowstone\u201d) to be on \u201cDutton Ranch.\u201d  <span class=\"credit\">Paramount Network<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Hauser (pictured with Reilly on \u201cDutton Ranch\u201d) is in \u201ca more mature era,\u201d said Voros.  <span class=\"credit\">Emerson Miller\/Paramount+<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Sheridan has a large portfolio of shows outside of the \u201cYellowstone\u201d world, including <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/03\/13\/entertainment\/taylor-sheridans-the-madison-is-a-michelle-pfeiffer-showcase-that-demonizes-nyc-review\/\">\u201cThe Madison\u201d starring Michelle Pfeiffer,<\/a> \u201cTulsa King\u201d starring Sylvester Stallone, and \u201cLandman\u201d starring Billy Bob Thornton.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When asked what other Sheridan shows she\u2019d want to see a crossover with, Voros said, \u201cI would love to see Michelle Pfeiffer and Kelly Reilley having a drink in a bar somewhere.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, as \u201cDutton Ranch\u201d goes on, Voros teased that Rip and Beth are living \u201cin new lands, without their allies.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Beth and Rip (pictured in \u201cDutton Ranch\u201d) will have \u201cwar\u201d coming \u201cto their doorstep.\u201d  <span class=\"credit\">Emerson Miller\/Paramount+<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Beth (pictured in \u201cDutton Ranch\u201d still has something \u201cboiling under the surface,\u201d said Voros.  <span class=\"credit\">Emerson Miller\/Paramount+<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>She added that she knows that audiences \u201clove vintage Rip and Beth. It was really interesting to watch both of them enter a slightly more mature era, but you also get a sense that there might still be something boiling under the surface.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As the season goes on, she said, \u201cyou really see these two people who have fought so hard to try to finally have peace.
