sportspeople on the list, behind Formula One founder Bernie Ecclestone, who is worth $2.66 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The soccer star\u2019s huge profit over the last year primarily came from his role as <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2013\/10\/29\/spend-it-like-beckham-star-buys-miami-mls-franchise\/\">investor in the MLS team<\/a> Inter Miami CF.<\/p>\n<p>His 26 percent stake of the organization is worth close to $400 million, a number that reportedly shot up after the team <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/07\/16\/lionel-messis-inter-miami-signing-official-as-mls-debut-nears\/\">signed
