Looks and sounds so weak,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/rdrhanover\/status\/2051457307960127660\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">one person penned on X<\/a>, while a <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/notmyname02\/status\/2051456727338356826\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">second chimed in<\/a>: \u201cRandy Jackson does not look well.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Randy Jackson sparked concern for looking \u201cfrail\u201d during an \u201cAmerican Idol\u201d guest appearance earlier this month (as pictured here). <span class=\"credit\">ABC<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>\u201cIs Randy Jackson ok? Looks and sounds so weak,\u201d one person wrote about the singer, while a second added, \u201cRandy doesn\u2019t look well. He looks weak and frail. He only sat. I hope he is OK!\u201d <span class=\"credit\">ABC<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/americanidol\/comments\/1t3zl5m\/randy_are_you_ok\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">On a Reddit thread,<\/a> a social media user stated, \u201cSorry if I missed something about his health but it\u2019s sad.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Rounding out the distressed remarks, another fan added, \u201cRandy doesn\u2019t look well. He looks weak and frail. He only sat. It is sad, and I wouldn\u2019t quite call it \u2018normal aging, nothing to see here,\u2019 but it does happen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jackson \u2014 who served as a judge on the competition series for Seasons 1-12, before returning as an in-house mentor for Season 13 \u2014 was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 2002.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_18-0\">\u201cIt always happens to somebody else, even though it ran in my family, my dad had it,\u201d he said\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/ztu_f5lp2-E?si=vilOpFvtCyrKbCYj\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">while on \u201cThe Doctors\u201d<\/a> in 2013. \u201cI never thought it would happen to me.\u201d <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The music executive 350 pounds.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson lost over 100 pounds post-surgery and cleaned up his eating. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor a long time you see me on TV and people have noticed me in the past and I was struggling with my weight, then I finally got it off by\u00a0using some pretty drastic measures,\u201d he <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/health\/randy-jackson-opens-up-about-weight-struggle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">detailed to People<\/a> in 2020. <\/p>\n<p>In 2019, the singer had spinal surgery after a back injury.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>\u201cI\u2019m proud to know that we did something that helps me, that helps everyone else, and takes the guesswork out of it for everybody,\u201d the artist
