I was dropping cups and glasses at night. It felt like things were running up and down my arm at different times and it was the nerves,\u201d Andrews recalled, adding that he would also feel occasional \u201ctwitches.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tazel said she noticed something was wrong when it took her fianc\u00e9 longer to clean the pool.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe way he walked, there was just the subtle little things like that and I had questions. I was like, \u2018Something is definitely wrong,&#8217;\u201d the \u201cJustified\u201d actress, 49, shared. <\/p>\n<p>Andrews said he temporarily lost his insurance during the strike but once he was covered again, he immediately went to see a doctor.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Andrews\u2019 fianc\u00e9e, Erica Tazel (seen above on CNN), said she noticed he would take longer to clean the pool. <span class=\"credit\">Elex Michaelson\/CNN\/Youtube<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>There is no cure for Andrews\u2019 diagnosis. (Pictured: Andrews at the  \u201cBobby DeBarge Story\u201d premiere in 2019.) <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWithin 15 minutes, the primary care [physician] said she would like me to see a neurologist,\u201d he remembered. \u201cOne thing led to another.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Despite there <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/09\/16\/celebrity-news\/eric-dane-advocates-for-als-cure-after-missing-emmys-2025-in-video-showing-disease-progression\/\">being no cure for Andrews\u2019 diagnosis<\/a>, Tazel \u2014 who has become the actor\u2019s caretaker \u2014 is still willing to exchange vows.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[There] was not a sigh of relief, but some understanding of what was happening.
