{"id":2539,"date":"2026-05-18T15:20:41","date_gmt":"2026-05-18T15:20:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/amy-schumer-reveals-unexpected-side-effect-of-botched-colonoscopy\/"},"modified":"2026-05-18T15:20:41","modified_gmt":"2026-05-18T15:20:41","slug":"amy-schumer-reveals-unexpected-side-effect-of-botched-colonoscopy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/amy-schumer-reveals-unexpected-side-effect-of-botched-colonoscopy\/","title":{"rendered":"Amy Schumer reveals unexpected side effect of botched colonoscopy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/05\/128125145.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Amy Schumer is \u201cnot feeling very sexual\u201d after she underwent \u201ca botched colonoscopy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The actress gave the health update during a recent \u201cNot Skinny But Not Fat\u201d podcast event, noting she feels \u201chappier than I\u2019ve ever been before,\u201d per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-news\/news\/amy-schumer-claims-she-had-a-botched-colonoscopy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">US Weekly<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The 44-year-old has gone through many life changes in the last year, including her <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/12\/02\/celebrity-news\/amy-schumer-clarifies-she-lost-50-pounds-to-survive-disease-not-to-look-hot\/\">major weight loss transformation<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/12\/13\/celebrity-news\/why-amy-schumer-and-chris-fischer-split-this-was-a-long-time-coming\/\">her split from husband Chris Fischer.<\/a><\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Amy Schumer said during a \u201cNot Skinny But Not Fat\u201d podcast event that she\u2019s \u201cnot feeling very sexual\u201d after undergoing \u201ca botched colonoscopy.\u201d  <span class=\"credit\">notskinnybutnotfat\/instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>But Schumer (seen above) did note that she feels \u201chappier than I\u2019ve ever been before.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">amyschumer\/instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In December 2025, Schumer told her Instagram followers she lost 50 pounds to deal with a hormonal disorder caused Cushing syndrome that <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/02\/24\/entertainment\/amy-schumer-reveals-cushing-syndrome-diagnosis\/\">she was diagnosed with<\/a> in 2024.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Before that, Schumer confirmed <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/03\/22\/celebrity-news\/amy-schumer-back-on-weight-loss-drugs-after-horrible-experience-with-wegovy\/\">she was taking weight-loss drug semaglutide<\/a>\u00a0after she tried Wegovy three years earlier and couldn\u2019t stop puking.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI couldn\u2019t handle it,\u201d she said in an Instagram video last March. \u201cI don\u2019t know if they\u2019ve changed the formula.
