These fingers were not recovered.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">In September 2025, police \u201cdiscovered evidence consistent with the dismemberment of the victim\u2019s body in the inflatable pool, which contained multiple linear cuts. family confiscated her phone once she was located but Burke continued to pursue her, having been informed she was not of age.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Burke allegedly drove to Rivas hometown, Lake Elsinore, and paid a fellow student $1,000 to give Rivas a phone Burke had purchased so they could continue to communicate.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Text messages recovered by detectives indicate the pair continued to have a sexual relationship.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Burke appeared in court on Wednesday, April 29 where his attorney claimed she had concerns about the alleged evidence becoming public.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">This follows reports last week that a &#8220;significant&#8221;
