href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/01\/05\/parents\/ashley-tisdale-exposes-toxic-celeb-mom-group-filled-with-mean-girl-behavior-isolation\/\">scathing essay about their alleged \u201ctoxic\u201d mom friend group<\/a> \u201cvery upsetting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s wild to have anybody talk about your life, and I know Hilary [Duff] has sort of mentioned this to,\u201d Moore <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=nZD5GMEH6gk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said on Andy Cohen\u2019s radio show<\/a> Monday as she addressed the drama for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>Moore continued, \u201cIt\u2019s like we both have grown up in this business and had people dissect who we are and the choices we make and all of that, but this was something altogether different and decidedly way more upsetting.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Mandy Moore (pictured above on \u201cRadio class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Moore explained that Tisdale\u2019s scathing remarks \u201cjust cuts to the core.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">Sirius XM\/Youtube<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>The \u201cThis Is Us\u201d actress added that Tisdale\u2019s essay, which she wrote for The Cut in January, \u201cjust cuts to the core.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Moore also called out the \u201cHigh School Musical\u201d alum for \u201cinsinuating\u201d that Moore and the <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/01\/06\/parents\/meet-the-members-of-the-mom-group-ashley-tisdale-branded-toxic-and-mean\/\">other members of the friend group<\/a> \u2014 which includes Duff and Meghan Trainor \u2014 are not kind.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019d say that was the biggest takeaway, sort of the shock of like, \u2018Wow,&#8217;\u201d Moore stated. <\/p>\n<p>While Moore admitted she\u2019s \u201creally scared by confrontation,\u201d she said she\u2019s \u201ca huge proponent\u201d of talking things out in life.<\/p>\n<figure wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Moore also said she \u201cwouldn\u2019t have handled the situation\u201d the way Tisdale (seen above with husband Christopher French) did. <span class=\"credit\">cmfrench\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not always like the most comfortable of situations,\u201d she continued, \u201cbut I think that\u2019s where I sort of differed in feeling like I wouldn\u2019t have handled the situation this way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cTangled\u201d star also said she\u2019s upset Tisdale\u2019s essay \u201cperpetuates this silly trope\u201d that women cannot support each other and are \u201cinherently petty,\u201d which is something the mother of three said she hasn\u2019t experienced since becoming a mom.<\/p>\n<p>Moore added that she\u2019s created \u201cmeaningful relationships\u201d with other moms and is grateful for the \u201ccommunity\u201d they have.<\/p>\n<figure Tisdale\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Duff, 38, praised Moore for her response, commenting, \u201cClass Bebe,\u201d under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DYfWVaFAAJa\/?igsh=cTdkb3JoM2w2c2l4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the \u201cRadio Andy\u201d Instagram clip<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In Tisdale\u2019s essay, titled <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecut.com\/article\/ashley-tisdale-french-mom-group-mean-girls-parenting.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-nyp-affiliate=\"true\">\u201cBreaking Up with My Toxic Mom Group,\u201d<\/a>\u00a0she claimed she was excluded from hangouts from her former mom group, which made her feel \u201cnot cool enough\u201d and \u201clost\u201d as to why she was being left out.<\/p>\n<p>Tisdale said she chose to cut ties with the group after the \u201cdynamic stopped being healthy and positive.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2026\/01\/05\/ashley-tisdale-responds-mom-article-drama-republican\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">denied that she was talking about Duff<\/a>, Moore and Trainor, while Duff\u2019s husband, Matthew Koma, <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/01\/06\/celebrity-news\/hilary-duffs-husband-seemingly-slams-ashley-tisdale-over-mom-group-drama\/\">slammed Tisdale on social media<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Duff, who has four kids, <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/02\/25\/celebrity-news\/hilary-duff-blasts-ashley-tisdale-for-lying-about-toxic-mom-group\/\">broke her silence on Tisdale\u2019s essay<\/a> on \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d in February, admitting she \u201cfelt really sad\u201d about the situation.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cLizzie McGuire\u201d alum also said she \u201cwas taken aback\u201d by
