It will be followed by the show\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/14\/entertainment\/survivor-50-star-rick-devens-doesnt-want-to-see-jenna-lewis-at-reunion\/\">first live reunion<\/a> since Season 39 in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The milestone season\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/03\/26\/entertainment\/survivor-50-star-charlie-davis-exposes-dee-and-rizos-pregame-alliance\/\">features several winners<\/a>\u00a0from previous years, though Hatch isn\u2019t a contestant.<\/p>\n<p>Hatch also wasn\u2019t cast in Season 40, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2020\/05\/14\/jersey-city-cop-wins-2-million-in-all-star-season-40-of-survivor\/\">\u201cSurvivor: Winners at War,\u201d<\/a> in 2020, which featured all former champions of the show.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>But CBS told Page Six in a statement, \u201cAll winners were invited to the Survivor 50 finale to celebrate the show\u2019s legacy\u201d (Hatch is seen above on \u201cSurvivor: All-Stars\u201d in 2004). <span class=\"credit\">CBS via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><figcaption>Hatch (pictured above on the show) won \u201cSurvivor\u201d Season 1 in 2000 and returned for \u201cSurvivor: All-Stars,\u201d where he sparked controversy for rubbing up against another contestant while naked. <span class=\"credit\">Monty Brinton\/CBS<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>At the time, host Jeff Probst said he \u201cdidn\u2019t feel comfortable\u201d having Hatch on \u201cWinners at War.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGiven his history on our show, it did not seem appropriate,\u201d Probst <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/entertainment\/news\/jeff-probst-why-richard-hatch-is-not-on-survivor-winners-at-war\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told Us Weekly<\/a>. \u201cWe were in a different time and different culture back then and we would never let him run a challenge naked now. Looking back on it, it just didn\u2019t seem to fit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hatch famously won the first season that aired in the summer of 2000. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Hatch was later excluded from the \u201cSurvivor\u201d Season 40 cast, as Jeff Probst (pictured above on \u201cSurvivor 50\u201d) said he \u201cdidn\u2019t feel comfortable\u201d having Hatch on the season. <span class=\"credit\">Robert Voets\/CBS<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Probst (pictured above) added that it \u201cdid not seem appropriate\u201d to cast Hatch on Season 40. <span class=\"credit\">Robert Voets\/CBS<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He returned for \u201cSurvivor: All-Stars\u201d in 2004, where he sparked controversy for rubbing up against fellow contestant Sue Hawk while he was naked during a challenge. Hatch was voted out later that episode, while Hawk quit the game the next day due to being so distraught over the incident.<\/p>\n<p>In 2006, Hatch was found guilty of two counts of tax evasion for allegedly not paying taxing on the $1 million he won from the show. <\/p>\n<p>He was sentenced to 51 months in jail followed by three years of supervised release.
