spinoff &#8216;In the City&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/04\/126699265.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The \u201cSummer House\u201d spinoff, <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/07\/entertainment\/amanda-batula-west-wilson-share-flirty-moment-in-first-trailer-for-summer-house-spinoff\/\">\u201cIn the City,\u201d<\/a> picked cameras back up after Amanda Batula and West Wilson\u2019s bombshell relationship announcement.<\/p>\n<p>Bravo exec Frances Berwick confirmed to <a href=\"https:\/\/theankler.com\/scandal-loyalty-summer-house-frances-berwicks-bravo-playbook\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Ankler <\/a>on Wednesday that the upcoming series shot \u201ca new scene\u201d to cover the fallout of the shock romance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2019In the City,\u2019 which launches in a couple of weeks \u2014 you\u2019ll see in the first episode we have a new scene that we shot with a couple of the cast members,\u201d\u00a0Berwick said.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span class=\"credit\">Kareem Black\/Bravo<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span class=\"credit\">BACKGRID<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cSo, we did pick it up there, but we just didn\u2019t feel like that was the right thing to do on\u00a0\u2018Summer House,&#8217;\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n<p>Berwick also said the network wanted to prioritize \u201cthe emotional well-being\u201d of the cast and \u201cdidn\u2019t think it was right\u201d to immediately pick cameras back up on \u201cSummer House.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Instead, production \u201cdid take a beat\u201d before including the Wilson-Batula storyline  in the spinoff, Berwick noted. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u201cAnd that was obviously in the reunion last week;
