Cause I don\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Voice\u201d host then showed a picture of he and his wife, Siri Pinter, with Etta at her Confirmation ceremony at a Catholic church.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Carson Daly revealed he talks more with his 13-year-old daughter, Etta, on Snapchat than in real life on \u201cToday with Jenna &amp; Sheinelle\u201d Monday. Cause I don\u2019t.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cThere she is, Confirmed \u2026 so, she\u2019s in God\u2019s hands now,\u201d he commented while the audience laughed.<\/p>\n<p>But he explained he has a much easier time talking to her through Snapchat \u2014 the app that lets you send messages that disappear.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou ever hear that phrase, \u2018You\u2019ve got to meet kids where they are?\u2019 You hear it in business a lot, right? They want to advertise, get in front of them,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve taken a page out of that and six months ago, I did join Snapchat,\u201d he continued. \u201cI have literally communicated with my daughter, in particular, more via Snapchat than I have in real life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Daly shared a sample conversation he and Etta have.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Daly said Etta was more responsive to him on Snapchat than in person. London, Etta and Jackson are pictured here with their parents in June 2017. <span class=\"credit\">NBCU Photo Bank\/NBCUniversal via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI can say, \u2018Are you okay?\u2019 And then I\u2019ll put some stupid emoji,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd she\u2019ll write back, like, \u2018LOL,\u2019 and all these little things are flying all over the screen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cAs silly as it is, I am connected a little bit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Daly and Pinter also share son Jackson, 17, as well as daughters London, 11, and Goldie, 6.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday\u2019s episode, Daly, 52, also shared his deal breaker for his children\u2019s future dates.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe only reservation I would have for my kids would be, like, a vegan or something like that maybe,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Daly also shared that his one deal breaker for his kids dating is if their partner is vegan. <span class=\"credit\">Julian Dakdouk\/NBC via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cThe Voice\u201d host explained that he and his wife (pictured here in September 2024) are big foodies and that food is an important part of their family.  <span class=\"credit\">Disney<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>After producers laughed backstage, he asked, \u201cIs that bad to say? Am I gonna get canceled for that?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Daly explained that food was an important part of his family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf we didn\u2019t have food, I wouldn\u2019t talk to my wife about anything. It holds us together,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m just saying it would suck if they came into the house on a Sunday, and we were going do like a big Daly feast, we make pizzas, and they were like, \u2018I can\u2019t eat anything,\u2019 I would just be like, \u2018He\u2019s a loser.
