They\u2019re seen above in December 2018. <span class=\"credit\">WireImage<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cAround the time they <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2017\/11\/20\/j-los-new-movie-closes-down-steakhouse\/\">filmed\u00a0and promoted the movie<\/a> together, Jennifer started feeling like the friendship had become a little too intense for her,\u201d the source said. \u201cThere was so much constant time together during filming and the press tour that Jennifer eventually felt overwhelmed by the dynamic and started pulling back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fans notably speculated there may have been tension between the longtime pals when Remini did not attend Lopez and Affleck\u2019s 2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2022\/08\/20\/jennifer-lopez-and-ben-affleck-wed-in-lavish-georgia-wedding\/\">Georgia wedding ceremony<\/a>. Instead, the source revealed the \u201cKing of Queens\u201d star dined with her daughter at The Front Yard in North Hollywood, California.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLeah and Ben never really clicked, and that definitely created a bit of a wedge between Jennifer and Leah for a period of time,\u201d the source said. \u201cIt wasn\u2019t some huge dramatic falling out or anything like that, but over time Jennifer just took a step back from the friendship.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>According to the insider, some of the tension began around the time Lopez and Remini worked together on the 2018 rom-com \u201cSecond Act\u201d and later promoted the film together.
