This doesn\u2019t deserve any further response,\u201d Vrabel told us in a statement at the time.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Earlier this month, Page Six released exclusive photos of the head coach and Russini holding hands (as seen above) and hugging at a luxury resort in Sedona, Arizona. Like most journalists in the NFL, reporters interact with sources away from stadiums and other venues.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Despite their denials, Russini was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/10\/entertainment\/dianna-russini-sidelined-by-new-york-times-after-internal-investigation-into-bombshell-mike-vrabel-photos-raised-additional-concerns\/\">sidelined by the New York Times<\/a>\u00a0and then <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/14\/entertainment\/nfl-reporter-dianna-russini-resigns-from-the-athletic-after-photos-with-mike-vrabel\/\">resigned from her position as senior NFL insider<\/a> at the Athletic.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, Vrabel announced that he would not be with his team for Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft to focus on family and personal matters and <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/23\/celebrity-news\/mike-vrabel-seeking-counseling-after-dianna-russini-photo-drama\/\">seek counseling<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Russini (seen above in 2019) was\u00a0sidelined by the New York Times\u00a0and later resigned from her position as
