Madeleine McCann went missing from her family\u2019s holiday apartment in Praia da Luz in Portugal on May 3 2007, shortly before her fourth birthday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Portuguese police made Kate and her husband Gerry suspects in Madeleine\u2019s disappearance for 10 months, between September 2007 and July 2008.
