\u201cpinned\u201d by a refrigerator in a \u201cterrifying\u201d freak accident several weeks ago.<\/p>\n<p>The 39-year-old called the incident the \u201cmost terrifying night of my life as a single mom\u201d in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DYnCyrqMhCM\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">an Instagram post<\/a> on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was home alone getting ready for bed when my 600 pound fridge slammed into me and pinned me against the counter,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Laura Clery (seen above in a neck brace in an ambulance) revealed that she was almost killed when a refrigerator fell on her several weeks ago. <span \u201ccouldn\u2019t move\u201d and \u201ccouldn\u2019t breathe\u201d as she struggled to get the fridge off her, noting that her children, Alfie, 7, and Poppy, 5, who she shares with her ex-husband, British record producer Stephen Hilton, were home during the crisis. <\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cI genuinely didn\u2019t know if I was getting out of that alive,\u201d Clery shared.<\/p>\n<p>However, Clery was able to call 911 from her phone in her pocket and was rescued by first responders.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt took three firefighters to lift it off me,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m still shaking.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter ambulance and asking first responders if they think she \u201cbroke anything.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s why we are going to take you to a trauma center,\u201d one of the firefighters replied.<\/p>\n<p>Clery then moaned in pain and said, \u201cF\u2013k, it hurts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The YouTuber elaborated on the incident in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patreon.com\/posts\/158873602?utm_campaign=postshare_creator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a Patreon post<\/a> with photos of her in the ambulence and hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Clery said \u201cthe pain was so intense it almost didn\u2019t feel real\u201d and that her daughter Penelope\u2019s crying made her \u201cpanic\u201d even more.<\/p>\n<p>She added that her son Alfie \u201cran outside, probably scared out of his mind.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Clery, who is now back home recovering from the incident, also joked that while she was pinned under the fridge, she thought to herself, \u201cthis is the dumbest way anyone has ever died.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Clery (seen above This is terrifying and absolutely a single mums worst fear,\u201d one fan wrote. \u201cI\u2019m so sorry Laura and so glad you\u2019re all okay.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Someone else said, \u201cI\u2019m really glad you are ok and that help got to you fast.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But some of Clery\u2019s followers bashed her for filming part of the incident. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy were you recording in the middle of getting put into an ambulance?\u201d one fan asked. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe firefighters are clearly annoyed.
