President DONALD J. TRUMP,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>The news comes one day after the president hinted that the event was <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/05\/21\/us-news\/trump-says-hell-try-to-make-son-don-jr-s-wedding-this-weekend\/\">\u201cnot good timing\u201d<\/a> for him. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019d like me to go, but it\u2019s going to be just a small little private affair, and I\u2019m going to try and make it,\u201d Trump told reporters in the Oval Office on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is not good timing for me,\u201d he added, \u201ceverything called Iran and other things.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Don Jr. and Anderson legally wed on Thursday. If I do attend, I get killed. If I don\u2019t attend, I get killed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump concluded, \u201cHopefully they\u2019re going to have a great marriage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Don Jr., 48, popped the question to Anderson, 39, in December at Camp David.
