There\u2019s so much I want to say, but I don\u2019t know how yet. Those with FA \u201cmay develop cancerous tumors earlier than people\u201d without it.<\/p>\n<p>Isaac underwent several surgeries over his 14 years of life, including receiving a kidney transplant at Cincinnati Children\u2019s Hospital in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, Daniel updated his fans on Issac\u2019s condition. <\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_32-0\">\u201cSurgery update: Yesterday was a hard day for Isaac\u2019s pain management, but we all got a little rest last night and things are improving today!\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CMIFpqbJG5D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">he captioned his post<\/a>, which included a picture of Issac after surgery. \u201cKidney numbers already looking better than anything we\u2019ve seen in years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In December 2025, Daniel announced that Issac had cancer \u201cin his mouth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DSfcyr7kQgZ\/?hl=en&amp;img_index=1\">wrote in the lengthy caption<\/a>, \u201cTBH, we always knew this day was coming, as it\u2019s a near certainty w\/ Fanconi anemia.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While announcing his eldest son\u2019s death in May 2026, Daniel praised the late teen for all he went through.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYour 14 years were full of so many challenges, but you met them all with such grit\u2026and you somehow kept your trademark joy in spite of it all. You truly had a spark like no other, Isaac!\u201d <\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cRemembering how loved you were and how full of life your time here was gives me great comfort.
