believed to be the victim of a homicide after he went missing, investigators say. <\/p>\n<p>Squamish Royal Canadian Mounted Police \u201cinitiated an investigation and, through investigative efforts, uncovered evidence that led investigators to believe Mr. McLean was victim of homicide,\u201d leading them to transfer the case to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT), <a href=\"https:\/\/rcmp.ca\/en\/bc\/squamish\/news\/2026\/05\/4353373\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reads the official release<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Police did not go into detail regarding the evidence aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>McLean, 45, was first reported missing on May 18 after he was last seen at his Lions Bay home on May 15.<\/p>\n<p>The agency will continue to work \u201cclosely with IHIT\u201d and with the additional help of the Integrated Forensic Identification Service (IFIS) \u201cto advance the investigation,\u201d the release continued. information line at 1-877-551-IHIT (4448) or by email at ihitinfo@rcmp-grc.gc.ca. <\/p>\n<p>In addition to starring in \u201cVirgin River,\u201d McLean\u2019s credits also include Fox\u2019s \u201cMurder in a Small Town\u201d and The CW\u2019s DC series \u201cArrow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He most recently portrayed a barfly on a 2026 episode of the Netflix drama, which is filmed in British Columbia. <\/p>\n<p>He was also a producer. <\/p>\n<p>His producing credits include the TV series \u201cPlease Look Away Vol. 2\u201d and \u201cCLOUD Van-Demic!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>This story
