You can\u2019t do all of these things all the time and so, you know \u2026 there\u2019s just like \u2026 is it good enough?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Over time, Johansson has accepted that not everything in her life will always be perfect.<\/p>\n<p>Johansson is currently balancing a <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/01\/19\/entertainment\/colin-jost-reacts-to-wife-scarlett-johansson-losing-title-as-highest-grossing-actor\/\">marriage with comedian Colin Jost<\/a> and raising their two kids, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/08\/16\/shopping\/the-outset-skincare-review\/\">launching a skincare brand<\/a> and\u00a0taking on acting roles.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Scarlett Johansson told \u201cCBS Sunday Morning\u201d that having a work-life balance is \u201cnot possible.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">CBS Sunday Morning<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>According to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/mattcraig\/2026\/03\/13\/the-highest-paid-actors-of-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Forbes<\/a>, Johansson earned $43 million in 2025 and was named the highest-paid actress of 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Her view of success has shifted in recent years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSomebody once told me, \u2018If you\u2019re successful as a parent like 75% of the time, that\u2019s good\u2019 \u2014 if you\u2019re doing 75% of it like right, then you\u2019re winning, which is probably true,\u201d Johansson told \u201cCBS Sunday Morning.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The Marvel star shared that there is always a \u201cdeficit\u201d somewhere in her life \u2014 despite her success. <span class=\"credit\">CBS Sunday Morning<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Johansson and Jost, a comedian and writer best known for his work on \u201cSaturday Night Live,\u201d\u00a0tied the knot\u00a0in October 2020. In August 2021, the couple welcomed their first son, Cosmo.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/05\/14\/entertainment\/scarlett-johansson-slams-oscars-for-avengers-endgame-snub\/\">Marvel actress<\/a> was previously married to actor Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2011 and French\u00a0journalist Romain Dauriac from\u00a02014 to 2017.\u00a0Dauriac and Johansson share\u00a0an 11-year-old daughter, Rose. This is Jost\u2019s first marriage.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cBlack Widow\u201d star came from humble beginnings. During an interview with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.etonline.com\/news\/220105_exclusive_scarlett_johansson_gets_candid_about_growing_up_a_low_income_family_we_were_living_on_welfare\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Entertainment Tonight<\/a>\u00a0in 2017, she admitted that her family of six was on welfare.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were living on welfare, we were on food stamps. My parents were raising four kids in a low-income household in Manhattan.
