Officers confirmed the remains are believed to belong to a single individual, whose identity has yet to be established, with a dedicated team of officers working to determine this as swiftly as possible.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">A substantial police cordon encircling the wooded area remains firmly in place. This will help us better understand the circumstances of how the body came to be there and see if there is more information about the death which can be gathered.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The force also stated that &#8220;residents can expect to see an increased police presence in the area&#8221; as the &#8220;complex investigation&#8221; continues into next week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;Any discovery of human remains is taken extremely seriously.
