Do not proceed unless you\u2019ve watched \u201cEuphoria\u201d Season 3, episode 7.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cEuphoria\u201d fans are shocked that the show <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/24\/entertainment\/euphoria-kills-off-jacob-elordis-nate-jacobs\/\">killed off Jacob Elordi\u2019s character, Nate Jacobs.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Following Sunday night\u2019s bombshell episode, viewers took to X to share their reactions to Nate being fatally bitten by a snake while buried alive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat whole sequence with Nate and the snake in the coffin is like my worst nightmare wtf was that,\u201d one fan <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/not1athserious\/status\/2058728005103390817\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tweeted<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>\u201cEuphoria\u201d fans reacted to Jacob Elordi\u2019s character, Nate Jacobs (seen above), being killed off on Sunday\u2019s episode. <span class=\"credit\">HBO<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>One fan called Nate being bitten by a snake while buried alive their \u201cworst nightmare.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">HBO<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cThe way nate dies tho wtf,\u201d another fan <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/X0valerie_\/status\/2058906568779874415\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote.<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>A third viewer <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/PunkyTheSinger\/status\/2058905833878978585\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>, \u201cI\u2019m actually traumatized at the scene with Nate &amp; that snake in Euphoria.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Someone else <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AntoniToshio\/status\/2058912286622818803\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tweeted<\/a>, \u201cHoly s\u2013t, what agony that Nate scene was.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A different viewer <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/fazpo\/status\/2058733245391630703\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">explained<\/a> that while they \u201chated\u201d Nate, they didn\u2019t enjoy seeing him \u201cdie in the most horrific way possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/kbb1w\/status\/2058734612218569013\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Another fan<\/a> complained that the show spent so long making Nate into \u201ca complex character\u201d and then abruptly killed him off.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Another fan tweeted they were in \u201cagony\u201d over Nate\u2019s death scene (Elordi as Nate is seen above). <span class=\"credit\">HBO<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>A different viewer said Nate died \u201cin the most horrific way possible.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">HBO<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>During the episode, Nate was buried alive in a coffin by Naz (Jack Topalian), a gangster he owes approximately one million dollars.<\/p>\n<p>Naz planned to leave Nate down there with a pipe to breathe through for 72 hours while his wife, Cassie (Sweeney), could get the money together.<\/p>\n<p>However, a rattlesnake slithered down the pipe and bit Nate.<\/p>\n<p>Cassie and Maddy (Alexa Demie) got the money but were heartbroken when they showed up to find Nate\u2019s body dug up.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>During Sunday\u2019s episode, Nate was buried alive in a coffin by Naz (seen above with Sydney Sweeney\u2019s Cassie), the gangster he owed a million dollars to. <span class=\"credit\">HBO<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Nate (seen above) got bit by a rattlesnake while he was buried alive. <span class=\"credit\">HBO<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In the \u201cinside the episode\u201d segment at the end,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/25\/entertainment\/how-jacob-elordi-feels-about-euphoria-character-nate-jacobs-gruesome-death\/\">Elordi, 28, called his character\u2019s death a \u201cbittersweet thing.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a cool way to go, Nate is somebody who\u2019s made so many mistakes and so many dark choices,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p>The Oscar nominee also said the HBO series has been\u00a0a \u201cmassive\u201d part of his career and life and that he\u2019s \u201cproud\u201d to have been part of it.<\/p>\n<p>Creator Sam Levinson also <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/25\/entertainment\/euphoria-creator-sam-levinson-defends-killing-off-jacob-elordis-character-nate-jacobs-in-horrific-scene\/\">defended killing off Nate<\/a> after the episode aired, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esquire.com\/entertainment\/tv\/a71388146\/euphoria-nate-death-sam-levinson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">telling Esquire<\/a> he wanted the scene to be \u201chorrific and anxiety-inducing.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Elordi (seen above in the show) called his character\u2019s death a \u201cbittersweet thing.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">HBO MAX<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Elordi (pictured above with Sweeney in the show) also said he\u2019s \u201cproud\u201d to have been part of the HBO show.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>First premiering in 2019, the drama series initially followed its characters in high school.<\/p>\n<p>Season 3, which premiered in April, features a five-year time jump with the characters as young adults, with Nate and Cassie<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/26\/entertainment\/euphoria-actor-breaks-down-jacob-elordi-sydney-sweeneys-shocking-wedding-scene\/\"> tying the knot<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEuphoria\u201d Season 3 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on HBO.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/25\/entertainment\/euphoria-fans-react-to-jacob-elordis-nate-jacobs-being-killed-off\/\" target=\"_blank\">Source link<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Warning: Spoilers ahead!
