essay<\/a> titled \u201cDon\u2019t Tell Me What It Is,\u201d the actress explained that she\u2019s \u201crushed\u201d through her entire life ever since her 6th birthday, where she was more focused on opening presents than celebrating her party.<\/p>\n\u201cEverywhere I\u2019ve ever been has felt a little temporary, like a waiting room I\u2019m trapped in before an operation,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\nJenny Mollen (seen above at the Whitney Museum Gala 2026) wrote a Substack essay on Monday where she opened up about struggling to feel \u201cworthy and validated.\u201d BFA.com \/ BACKGRID<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\nMollen explained that she\u2019s \u201crushed\u201d through her entire ever since she was 6 years old. BFA.com \/ BACKGRID<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<\/aside>\nThe \u201cAngel\u201d star, 46, said she also wasn\u2019t living in the moment when her and Biggs\u2019 two sons, Lazlo, 8, and Sid, 12, were younger, which she now feels is \u201ctragic.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen you\u2019re young and ambitious, or maybe just middle-aged with ADHD, it feels impossible to appreciate anything while you\u2019re in it,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n
Mollen compared \u201cthe highest highs\u201d of her life to \u201cpennies disappearing into a bottomless well,\u201d before admitting she always hoped her next big life event would be the one that \u201ccured\u201d her or made her feel \u201cworthy and validated.\u201d<\/p>\nMollen also said she wasn\u2019t living in the moment when her two sons (pictured above) were younger. jennymollen\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\nThe actress (pictured above with ex Jason Biggs and their kids) said she always hoped her next big life event would be the one that made her feel \u201cworthy and validated.\u201d jennymollen\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\nNear the end of her essay, Mollen referenced her split from Biggs, 48, when she joked that her upcoming trip to Italy \u201csounds so \u2018Eat, Pray, Love\u2019 considering the current state of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m actually just going because a friend invited me to her birthday party,\u201d she added. \u201cIt also happens to be my birthday as well.\u201d<\/p>\n
Their spokesperson told us the pair remain on great terms and are focused on raising their two sons.<\/p>\nMollen (seen above with Biggs at New York Fashion Week in September 2025) also revealed she\u2019s about to go on a trip to Italy following her split from Biggs. Mollen shared her last Instagram post<\/a> with Biggs in November 2025.<\/p>\nAlongside a photo of the two actors, Mollen wrote in her caption, \u201cA totally approachable couple not trying to seduce you.\u201d<\/p>\nPage Six confirmed earlier this month Biggs and Mollen (seen above at the US Open 2025) split after 18 years of marriage.
