I had assigned myself as head of all women who would never \u2014 ever [get one].\u201d<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019Donnell elaborated that while she once thought facelifts were a \u201cbetrayal\u201d of feminism, losing 50 pounds gave her a change of heart.<\/p>\n<p>When looking in the mirror and facing gravity, the mom of five tried to reassure herself that it was \u201cnatural,\u201d but that \u201cacceptance\u201d started \u201cto feel like lying.\u201d <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The comedian (pictured here in a selfie) said that she used to think a facelift was a \u201cbetrayal\u201d of feminism. <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/@rosie<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>O\u2019Donnell (pictured here in a selfie) tried to accept that she was aging naturally, but she still wasn\u2019t happy with what she saw. <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/@rosie<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>O\u2019Donnell\u2019s child Clay, 13, meanwhile, tried to talk her out of it, telling the talk show host she \u201cearned\u201d her wrinkles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhich \u2014 first of all \u2014 rude,\u201d O\u2019Donnell mused. \u201cBut also \u2026 correct.
