I needed that,\u201d Dillard, 28, said before sharing that he\u2019s in therapy and taking medication.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_15-0\">\u201cMy whole life, I distracted myself and ran away from my issues instead of facing them head-on,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cHit the Floor\u201d musician said he was diagnosed with BPD, which is a mental health condition that affects the way people feel about themselves and others, making it hard to function in everyday life, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mayoclinic.org\/diseases-conditions\/borderline-personality-disorder\/symptoms-causes\/syc-20370237\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">per Mayo Clinic<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span class=\"credit\">Clifton Prescod\/Bravo<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span class=\"credit\">Eugene Gologursky\/Bravo<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_21-0\">\u201cI\u2019m grateful that I\u2019m here alive because I could have not been. I\u2019m thankful for the support of my friends. Like everyone here has somehow shown their support in their own way. So, I appreciate that,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_23-0\">\u201cI\u2019m very thankful that the audience is embracing that, because it\u2019s my truth. I\u2019m not gonna not be honest about what I\u2019m going through, especially if it can help others,\u201d the Bravolebrity added.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_25-0\">\u201cSummer House\u201d star Jesse Solomon attempted to hold back tears as he lauded Dillard for sharing his \u201cmoving story.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_27-0\">\u201cI feel for you,\u201d he said as Dillard hugged him. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span class=\"credit\">Charles Sykes\/Bravo<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"> <span class=\"credit\">Charles Sykes\/Bravo<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_27-0\">\u201cI\u2019m glad you\u2019re good, because I don\u2019t want anyone to go through that.
