[His] car [was] in the driveway.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>\u201cVirgin River\u201d actor Stewart McLean\u2019s friend, Jeff Seymour, revealed the late star\u2019s final text before his mysterious death. <span class=\"credit\">Netflix<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>In his final text, Mclean (seen above in \u201cVirgin River\u201d) confirmed he\u2019d be back on the set of the independent movie he was working on in Canada, according to Seymour. <span class=\"credit\">Netflix<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Seymour claimed McLean\u2019s \u201clast communication came from his phone that evening\u201d before \u201ceverything just went dark.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the last text he sent, McLean confirmed he\u2019d be back on set the next day (May 16), according to Seymour.<\/p>\n<p>But when Seymour heard from McLean\u2019s agent that he didn\u2019t show up to the film shoot, he <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/23\/celebrity-news\/friends-chilling-words-about-virgin-river-actors-suspected-murder-revealed-after-fatal-discovery\/\">knew \u201csomething horrible had happened\u201d<\/a> to his friend.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause, show business, you know?\u201d he told the outlet. \u201cThe show must go on. You will be greatly missed, my friend. You were a good egg.
