Seen here: Davidson in court. <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/@metpolice_uk<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>During his trial, Davidson denied the allegations against him, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DXwkpJKikkR\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">telling the court<\/a>, \u201cI have never raped, sexually assaulted or coerced any woman in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The incidents occurred during Davidson\u2019s height of fame.<\/p>\n<p>The singer, whose stage name is Ross Wild, was best known for singing with Spandau Ballet, which rose to fame in the \u201980s. He is not the original singer of the band, but joined in 2018, replacing founding member Tony Hadley. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Davidson\u2019s stage name is Ross Wild, and he was known for singing with the 1980s band Spandau Ballet in 2018. Seen here: Davidson performing in 2018. <span class=\"credit\">Dave J Hogan\/Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Davidson (seen above in 2018) also performed in the \u201cWe Will Rock You\u201d West End musical. <span class=\"credit\">Dave J Hogan\/Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He also starred in the \u201cWe Will Rock You\u201d West End musical.<\/p>\n<p>In court on Thursday, Judge John Dodd KC said, \u201cFor a period of six years between 2013 to 2019, and at a time when your stage and musical career was fast developing, and you were seen by many as a charismatic, you were also behaving to women in a wholly disgraceful manner,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/uk\/crime\/spandau-ballet-ross-davidson-jail-b2968176.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">per the Independent. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>The judge also said that Davidson had an \u201cadventurous attitude to matters sexually\u201d and tended to treat women \u201cwithout respect.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The crimes happened during the height of his career.
