You can check with Noah, but I don\u2019t know about this.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Moafi joined \u201cThe Pitt\u201d in Season 2 as Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi, the new attending physician who arrives to replace Wyle\u2019s Dr. Robby ahead of his sabbatical.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Moafi (pictured above with Wyle and Craig Ricci between the two actors \u2014 which Moafi denied.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAbsolutely not,\u201d she told Variety. \u201cI do not have that power.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Moafi also confirmed she\u2019s returning to the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/01\/08\/entertainment\/what-the-pitt-gets-right-and-wrong-according-to-real-life-medical-professionals\/\">hit HBO Max medical drama<\/a> for Season 3, though she doesn\u2019t know \u201cto what capacity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m positive, I think?\u201d she said with a laugh when asked about her return. \u201cNothing is clear to me as to what\u2019s happening with the story, how many episodes, all that, but I am coming back.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Moafi (pictured seasons.<\/p>\n<p>Tracy Ifeachor, who played Dr. Heather Collins, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/07\/11\/entertainment\/the-pitt-star-tracy-ifeachor-exits-ahead-of-season-2\/\">departed the series after Season 1,<\/a> while news broke in April that Supriya Ganesh was not returning as\u00a0Dr. Samira Mohan for Season 3.<\/p>\n<p>Wyle, who also executive produces the series, recently warned there could be more cast exits ahead.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Wyle stars in and executive produces \u201cThe to happen every season with this show because as writers we\u2019re hard pressed to figure out what a lapse of time we can have and keep most of the ensemble together realistically,\u201d he <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2026\/scene\/columns\/the-pitt-noah-wyle-explans-supriya-ganesh-leaving-exit-after-season-2-1236719896\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">explained to Variety<\/a> at the show\u2019s April 12 PaleyFest event in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEmergency rooms have a high revolving door,\u201d the actor, 54, added. \u201cAs always, we try to bring in new characters or promote from within as we go through these cast changes and try to keep the storylines fresh.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Pitt\u201d Season 3 is expected to premiere in January
